Screening of Phenolic Compounds in Rejected Avocado and Determination of Their Antioxidant Potential

Avocados are one of the important fruits in our diet, showing many health benefits. However, a significant amount avocados become defective as they transported throughout supply chain and refused by consumers, ending up at animal or pet feed manufacturers. Indeed, some previous evidence suggests that rejected still present high phenolic content can be reused drug pharmacological industry. Therefore, work, we measured from avocado pulp evaluated antioxidant potential, followed characterization quantification using LC-ESI-QTOF-MS/MS HPLC-PDA. Reed was highest TPC (0.21 mg GAE/g f.w.)
